We have been away from the office for a few days. We are now back with various updates this week.
On September 17, we launched a new Purchase with Purchase promotion at select Walt Disney World® Resort locations. This new promotion is themed to the upcoming Tenth Anniversary of Disney Pin Trading.
A similar Purchase with Purchase promotion will be introduced at Disneyland® Resort coming in January 2010. Why January? We have to finish the current Matterhorn Gift With Purchase collection before starting the new Purchase with Purchase promotion. Additionally, the actual tenth anniversary of Disney Pin Trading for Disneyland® Resort will be February 17, 2010.
The cool part about this new promotion is that the pins featured on either coast will be similar yet different in design. This means they will both use the ten different languages featured but the characters included on each coast will be different. For example, Stitch will be found in Florida with the Hawai’ian word for “ten” while Lilo will be featured in California with the Hawai’ian word for “ten.”
Both promotions will be a mystery – meaning you won’t know which pin you get until opened.
